Better Baked Beans on Toast

Ingredients

• 1 can baked beans
• 2–4 slices bread
• Butter
• ½ tsp smoked paprika; dash of Worcestershire or hot sauce; squeeze of ketchup or mustard
• Grated cheese
• Optional: a fried or poached egg

Instructions

1. Warm the beans in a small pot with the paprika, Worcestershire, and ketchup or mustard; season with pepper.
2. Toast the bread well and butter it.
3. Pile the beans onto the toast.
4. Top with grated cheese so it melts into the hot beans.
5. Add a fried egg on top if you like.
